So AJ has croup. Or a bad cold, the jury is out. But as a result of his trip to the doctor, we found out he weighs 16 lbs. 15 oz. Yay! We will get his height at his 6 month check up next week.
His fever seems to have broken last night - he felt a lot cooler to the touch. When we took his temperature this morning, the thermometer said 96°, which didn't seem right either. At least it was no longer 102°.
Overall, I think Jeff and I did a good job of not freaking out with AJ's first illness. It is painful to watch him coughing and feeling bad, and we are both so sad that we can't help. But we didn't panic and kept our cool.

We are so happy it's not something more serious and you did a fine job! It's always so hard to see a sick child. Hope he's better soon.
